2026 Dirac Lectures on Quantum Mechanics: Dirac's Dissertation at 100
About the Event
The Dirac Lectures is an initiative of Florida State University to celebrate the memory of Paul Dirac, late FSU physics faculty member, Nobel Prize laureate, and namesake of the Dirac Science Library. These lectures bring outstanding speakers to FSU to present physics topics of particular interest and notability.
The 2026 Dirac Lectures will be a special event since they celebrate the 100th anniversary of Dirac's Ph.D. dissertation titled “Quantum Mechanics,” whose original handwritten manuscript is preserved and available for view and consultation from the FSU library.
