The Pat Thomas Planetarium at FSU is a half dome planetarium that serves the community; local and regional K-12 schools, University students, home-school students, service organizations, clubs, and the general public all enjoy our planetarium.
About Us
The Pat Thomas Planetarium is part of the Physics department at Florida State University. It has been in operation since 1982. Recently upgraded to a state-of-the-art digital system with high definition projectors, powerful computers, and advanced software. We can project 360 degree images of greawt beauty and realism. Visitors of all ages report that they love the Planetarium!
How to Set Up a Visit
We are a free service to the community. We can seat up to 78 guests at a time, with a requested minimum group of 8. Please contact Mark Cartagine (right?) with the following information:
- Name of contact
- Cell number
- School, if applicable
- Number of visitors
- Requested date and time
- Requested show (see below)
- Any other accommodations or requests
